The Thriller live

Enjoy the award winning London show, Thriller Live at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue. The show is running with houseful shows since January 2009. It is a must watch for those who are ardent fans of Michael Jackson's music. Experience the outstanding experience which is a perfect tribute to the King of Pop and features songs from both The Jackson Five and Michael as a solo artist. Some of the iconic songs "I Want You Back", "Smooth Criminal", "Billie Jean" are key highlights of the show.

On August 2006, the original production made its debut at the Dominion Theatre of London's West End. It is headed by theatrical producer Adrian Grant. The show became an instant hit and creative team were ensured about its success in the UK. There was a short UK and European tour, directed and choreographed by Kerys Nathan in the year 2007.

The original cast of Thriller Live comprises of Pop Idol singer Zoe Birkit portrayed the adult singing roles, whereas the young Shaheen Jafargholi, star of Britain's Got Talent as the young Michael Jackson. Year 2008 marked the auditioning for new singers for opening in the West End on 21st January 2009. The show was directed and choreographed by Gary Lloyd. After the singer's death on June 25th 2009, the show generated huge curiosity. Since then, Thriller Live is running with houseful shows at the Lyric Theatre!

The Lyric Theatre is located on the famed stretch of road known as Shaftesbury Avenue. This is the venue which is immensely popular amongst the theatre lovers in London. The venue has wide range of of lively bars and restaurants, whereas Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus are at short distance and restaurants of Chinatown at nearby distance. Some of the most popular clubs and bars for tourists are located at a nearby distance.


Lyric Theatre is located at an easily accessible location and can be commuted via various modes of commutations such as buses, tubes, taxis and cars. Piccadilly Circus on The Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines is the nearest station to the theatre, just 250m it. You can visit the theatre via bus route numbers 14, 19, 22B, 38, 53, 88, 94 and 159. You can also hire a taxi or drive a car.
