If you are a
huge fan of legendary performer, Michael Jackson then simply head towards Lyric theatre and catch the
chartbusting London musical, Thriller Live. The show is a simply mesmerizing
experience as it also features some of the wonderful songs of the late, great
Michael Jackson.
Since 2009,
Thriller Live is running with houseful shows at the London's Lyric Theatre on
Shaftesbury Avenue. The show is a real tribute to the King of Pop as it
features both The Jackson Five and Michael as a solo artist. One of the key
highlights of the show are mesmerizing songs "I Want You Back",
"Smooth Criminal", "Billie Jean" etc.
On August 2006,
at the popular Dominion theatre, the original production of Thriller was
previewed. Under the supervision of theatrical producer, Adrian Grant, the show
made its grand debut followed by short UK and European tour, under the
direction and choreography of Kerys Nathan. The original cast features Pop Idol
singer Zoe Birkit as adult singer, where the role of young is performed by Shaheen
Jafargholi. Audition for new singers started in the year 2008 and opened on
21st January 2009 under the direction and choreography of Gary Lloyd.
The hugely loved
London show Thriller Live went on becoming global phenomenon. The show is
enjoyed by more than 3 million audience across the globe in 29 countries. The
spectacular concert-style show features four lead vocalists and categorised
into Jackson’s catalogue of chart hits. The show also features Jackson's song’s
ground-breaking videos and iconic dance moves.
Currently, the
show stars 90’s pop sensation Cleo Higgins who is the lead singer of girl group
Cleopatra. With top five hits with “Cleopatra’s Theme”, Life Ain’t Easy” and
their cover of The Jackson Five’s “I Want You Back”, she is a great performer. With
the London Westend show, Thriller Live, Cleo made her West End debut. Her
sterling performance as well magnificent Jackson esque vocals has made her earn
high praise. Thriller Live is an enjoyable London show which recommended for 8+
